It is a unique tradition in Karimnagar where the dalits celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights, by decorating the cemeteries of the departed souls, with lights and flowers of their dear ones and offering various sweets and food and later burst fireworks

KARIMNAGAR: As it as an age-old and unique tradition among the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities to celebrate the Diwali festival at the cemeteries by paying tributes to the departed souls of their dear ones, Mayor Y Sunil Rao had instructed the municipal authorities concerned to make all arrangements at the Kashmigadda and other cemeteries in Karimnagar town for the ensuing Diwali festival.

The Mayor informed the Municipal Commissioner to take all necessary measures for the smooth conduct of Diwali celebrations at the burial grounds in various parts of the town by making arrangements for the illumination and cleaning the cemeteries by removing the fully-grown shrubs and weeds and cleaning the burial grounds.

Following a representation made by the TRS corporators Kamsala Srinivas and Kurra Tirupathi and Edla Ashok, the Mayor ordered the authorities to make all arrangements at the burial grounds.  It may be mentioned here that the SC and STs celebrated the Diwali festival of lighting the lamps and bursting the fireworks at the cemeteries of their dear ones. They also offer various foods and sweets to the departed soul at the cemeteries.

One other important component is that if you are a senior, travel insurance pertaining to pensioners is something you should make sure you really consider. The old you are, the greater at risk you are for allowing something bad happen to you while in another country. If you are not necessarily covered by some comprehensive insurance cover, you could have quite a few serious complications. Thanks for sharing your suggestions on this web blog.
