Dares BJP to order for inquiries through ED and CBI against TRS

Bandi Sanjay padayatra only a futile exercise to divert attention of people

Party leaders told to use social media extensively

KARIMNAGAR: AICC secretary and Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee affairs incharge Manickam Tagore has alleged that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Odisha state Chief Minister Navin Patnaik were the agents of the BJP.

“The TRS and BJP are the same and cheating the people with their drama. They fight with each other in Telangana state and are close friends in Delhi”, he charged and added that the BJP government was passing several bills in the parliament with the support of the CM’s of Telangana, AP and Odisha states.

Mr Tagore was in Karimnagar town to participate in the Karimnagar parliament constituency review meeting and boost the morale of the party rank and file by organising a meeting at the party office in Karimnagar town on Sunday. He was accorded a warm welcome from the district borders to the Karimnagar town.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Manickam dared Karimnagar MP and BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar to write a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah against Minister for Civil Supplies and BC Welfare Gangula Kamalakar for indulging in illegal granite quarry operations and causing huge loss to the state exchequer. He also expressed shock over why Enforcement Directorate officials were remaining silent when the Minister had evaded taxes to the tune of several crores of rupees to the government.

Ridiculing the BJP state president talking against the TRS government indulging in corruption and other irregularities, he questioned why the BJP government at Centre was not instructing the central agencies such as CBI to probe into the corruption charges against the TRS government. He charged that the BJP was misleading the people of the state as both the parties were hand-in-glove. The BJP state president was only diverting the attention of people by launching the padayatra, which would be a futile one, he said and demanded the Union government to take stern action against the corrupt TRS government.

Reminding that AICC former president Sonia Gandhi had carved out separate Telangana state to fulfil the promise made to the people of Telangana state during the 2004 elections in Karimnagar town, he called upon the Congress rank and file to rise to the occasion and strive to win more than 70 assembly seats in the ensuing 2023 elections in the state. He also appealed to the party leaders to use social media extensively and expose the misdeeds of the TRS and BJP governments. Former MP Ponnam Prabhakar, DCC president Kavvampally Satyanarayana, former Vemulawada temple chairman Adi Srinivas, senior party leaders A Laxman Kumar, town president K Narender Reddy and others were also present.
