20,000 facemasks and 600 litres of sanitisers donated to Vemulawada temple for Shivarathri jatara

KARIMNAGAR: With the annual Mahashivarathri jatara scheduled to be held from February 28 to March 2 including the main festival of Mahashivarathri on March 1, a philanthropist from Vemulawada temple town Nagubothu Ravi has donated 20,000 facemasks and 600 litres of sanitiser worth Rs 80,000 to the devasthanam on Thursday.

Mr Ravi has handed over the facemasks and sanitiser bottles to Temple executive officer L Rama Devi and informed her to utilize the facemasks for the personnel deployed for the Mahashivarathri jatara arrangements and also to the devotees coming without masks also sanitise the hands before entering the temple shrine. Temple EE Rajesh, AEOs Prathap and Naveen, supervisors Sirigiri Sriramulu, Hariharnath, L Rajender and Edla Shiva were also present.
