KARIMNAGAR: The eighth annual conference of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) Telangana state branch (TS ASICON) would be held from September 23 to 25, 2022, at Chalmeda Anand Rao Institute of Medical Sciences (CAIMS) at Bommakal on the outskirts of Karimnagar town.
Over 1500 surgeons from all over the country and also from the Telugu-speaking states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh will participate in the three-day conference.
Disclosing this to newsmen on September 14, 2022, TS ASICON 2022 organising chairman Dr V Surya Narayana Reddy, vice chairpersons Dr A Jayaram, Dr Guruva Reddy and Dr D Penchalaiah, organising secretaries Dr Ch Pradeep Kumar, A Srinivas, Dr Tatipamula Suresh and Dr Arun Katari and organising joint secretaries Dr M Venkat Reddy, Dr Anil Damera, Dr Mangilal and Dr M Ramu have released the brochure of the conference.
Speaking on the occasion, they said that the conference would discuss various issues pertaining to the surgery and the latest updates. There would be live surgeries and hands-on training for the students on September 25, 2022.
They said that the eminent surgeons from the country including Dr Ch Ravinder Rao (past president of TS ASI) and others attend the conference and enlighten the latest developments in surgeries. They called upon the students of various medical colleges to utilise the opportunity and update their academics and knowledge.
