Sircilla gynaecologist wins two national IMA awards

RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Eminent gynaecologist Pantagani Shoba Rani from the Sircilla textile town has bagged two national Indian Medical Association (IMA) awards for her meritorious social service in the district.

She has bagged the prestigious IMA Dr Kanak Goel award and the IMA National president’s special recognition award for her services to society especially the weaving community in the textile town. Similarly, the IMA Sircilla unit had also bagged the national award for its services and health awareness programme in the district.

She would receive the award at the IMA national conference which would be held in Patna of Bihar state on December 27 and 28. The district IMA president Dr P Penchaiah and secretary Dr Cheekoti Santosh and others had congratulated Dr Shoba Rani for winning national awards for her services to the society.
