IMA Karimnagar chapter to extends solidarity to Rajasthan doctors by observing black day
KARIMNAGAR: The Indian Medical Association (IMA) Karimnagar chapter has decided to lodge their protest against the controversial Rajasthan state’s Right to Health (RTH) Bill by wearing the black badges in entire Karimnagar district demanding the Rajasthan state government to roll back the bill or amend it accordingly.
Extending solidarity to the agitating doctors in Rajasthan state, the IMA Karimnagar chapter had convened an emergency meeting in Karimnagar town on Monday and discussed the strategies to intensify the agitation against the Rajasthan state RTH Bill. As per the call given by the IMA national chapter, they have decided to observe black day by wearing black badges and show solidarity with Rajasthan doctors. They also passed a resolution against the Rajasthan RTH bill.

IMA district president Dr Polasa Ram Kiran, general secretary Dr Venkat Reddy, IMA senior leaders Dr Bhoom Reddy, Dr Ch Jaganmohan Rao, Dr Rajender, Dr Mohan Reddy, Dr Srilatha, Dr Himabindu, Dr Aleem, Dr Krishna Murthy and others were also present.
