CT scan facilities at Govt hospital soon: Collector

KARIMNAGAR: Collector RV Karnan has assured to take all measures to provide free CT scan services at the government headquarters hospital in Karimnagar town for the benefit of patients.

The Collector, who took charge recently, visited the government headquarters hospital and Mother and Child health centre (MCHC) in Karimnagar town on Thursday and interacted with the medical fraternity and the patients and inquired about the treatment and facilities being provided. He said that the government headquarters hospital was fully equipped to treat the patients suffering from the Covid with the availability of oxygen generator plant.
At the MCHC, the Collector informed the doctors to increase the deliveries and benefit the poor patients. He said that the hospital was conducting deliveries for the Covid positive patients also. He also assured all assistance for both the hospitals for providing adequate medical equipment for the benefit of patients. He informed the authorities to expedite the construction of additional floors and rooms at the MCHC to benefit the patients. Hospital superintendent Dr Ratnamala, RMO Dr Shouraiah, MCHC administrator Dr Aleem and others were also present.
