Collector participates in cleanliness drive in Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24, 2023: In the wake of Collectorate office premises turning ugly with the growing of shrubs and water logging causing inconvenience to the visitors, the district officials participated in the cleanliness drive on the premises by removing the shrubs, weeds and water logging to keep the premises clean and tidy on Sunday.
Though, it was a Sunday and holiday, the district officials have arrived in large numbers to participate in the cleanliness drive. Collector Dr B Gopi, Additional Collectors Praful Desai and Laxmi Kiran, RDO Maheshwar and other district officials participated in the programme. The Collector took up the spade and started removing the shrubs and weeds and dumping in the garbage vehicle kept ready for the collection of the waste.
The district officials also actively participate in the cleanliness drive to check the mosquito menace by removing the shrubs, weeds and grass. The officials worked for several hours to remove the garbage and keep the surroundings clean on the Collectorate premises.
