Baby feeding centre inaugurated at Vemulawada temple
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: To encourage the safe feeding of infants and children in privacy, Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy devasthanam in Vemulawada of Rajanna-Sircilla launched a Baby feeding centre (BFC) at the temple shrine on Sunday.
Temple Executive Officer L Rama Devi took initiative for providing a baby feeding centre (BFC) at the temple shrine. Accordingly, she made all arrangements for the BFC and made a woman devotee and mother of an infant inaugurate the centre.
The idea behind the launch of the facility was to provide a safe place for nursing mothers and infants. Mothers require a safe space to feed infants. The centre provides a hygienic and safe place for feeding infants, the Temple EO stated.
