Apollo Reach hospital conduct diabetes detection camp at Ambedkar stadium
KARIMNAGAR, NOVEMBER 14, 2023: On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Apollo Reach hospital, Karimnagar town, has conducted a free diabetes detection camp at Ambedkar stadium in Karimnagar town on Tuesday.
The camp was organised in association with the Karimnagar district runners and cyclist and enlightened the people on the importance of physical exercises to check the diabetes and other diseases. They also conducted a one-kilometer run on the occasion.
Apollo Reach hospital doctors Chandrashekhar, Tirunathar, Anil Malpur, Subrath Kumar, Vasu, eminent physician and district runners and cyclist association secretary Dr Ajay Khandal, association president Pasula Mahesh, Apollo hospital AO Naga Satish and others participated in the programme.
The doctors had screened over 300 patients and provided medicines on the occasion. They were also advised on the importance of physical activity and desist from unhealthy food habits of eating outside food. The Apollo staff conducted cultural programmes also attracted the participants.
