Superstar Krishna film festival at Film Bhavan in Karimnagar town

KARIMNAGAR: In order to pay tributes to Telugu film industry superstar Krishna, the Karimnagar Film Society (Kafiso) has launched a three-day Krishna film festival at Film Bhavan in Karimnagar town from December 22 to 24, 2022 at 5 pm.

The film festival was formally inaugurated by Telangana State Film Development Corporation limited chairman Kurmachalam Anil on December 22, 2022, with the screening of the blockbuster movie “Alluri Seetha Rama Raju” (first cinemascope movie). On December 23, the film society would screen the trendsetter movie “Mosagallaku Mosagadu” (the first cowboy movie to be made in India) and on December 24 another blockbuster movie “Simhasanam” (the first 70 mm movie).

On this occasion, Mr Anil appreciated the Karimnagar film society for organising a film festival on superstar Krishna, who was a trendsetter and introduced several revolutionary changes in the Telugu film industry. Additional Collector GV Shyam Prasad Lal appreciated the Kafiso for screening superstar Krishna films at Film bhavan.

Karimnagar film society president Ponnam Ravichandra, its members Varala Mahesh, K Laxmi Gautam, Syed Muzzafar, Kola Ramachandra Reddy, Chenna Anil Kumar, Madishetty Gopal, Munipalli Phanitha, Narla Chandramouli, T Dasaratham, Enugurthi Ramesh, Raghuram, Shankaraiaha and others were also present.
