World Pharmacists day observed at Satavahana varsity

KARIMNAGAR: The University College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Satavahana University in Karimnagar observed the World Pharmacists day on Saturday by organising essay writing and elocution competitions to the students.
Speaking on this occasion, College principal B Bhagyalaxmi said that the Pharmacists play an important role in patient care. The pharmacists assist physicians in deciding right medicine and right dose, she said and added that the theme for this year celebrations was “Pharmacy – Always trusted for your health”. Faculty memners K Srisailam, K Tirupathi, Ch Anil Kumar, K Sunitha, GL Archana, P Kranthi Raju, J Ashwini and others were also present.
