Data Recovery Experts Expand their Cloud and Security Skills at VeeamON Tour India in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD, SEPTEMBER 21, 2023: — Veeam ® Software, the global leader in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery, hosted VeeamON Tour India 2023 in Hyderabad. This initiative by Veeam aims to build a community event for data recovery experts, reflecting the company’s constant dedication to data security and ransomware recovery.

Designed for backup and recovery experts, the Hyderabad edition of VeeamON Tour India featured a panel discussion on ‘Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery and Ransomware’. The panel was led by Mr. Amol Diwanji, Head of Systems Engineering, India, and SAARC, Veeam and the panelists included Mr. Vamsi Krishna GV, VP-IT, Quislex, Mr. CK Prasad, Executive Director, Ministry of Railways and Mr. M. Prabhakar Rao, Associate VP IT & IS, Natco Pharma Limited. The panelists covered innovative data protection strategies and recommended best practices for Ransomware Recovery.

The event offered a glimpse into the future of data protection by showcasing innovations around Veeam Data Platform, modern and intelligent data protection with insights from C-Suite members, advancing ESG and DEI Narratives in Cloud Data Management, and much more. This event was strategically designed to facilitate an in-depth exploration of solution-oriented sessions, empowering industry experts to enhance their proficiency in cloud and security capabilities. During the event, Veeam Software also shared insights from its latest Veeam® 2023 Ransomware Trends Report which suggests that one in seven organizations will see almost all (>80%) data affected as a result of a ransomware attack.
