Training programme to enhance English language teaching skills among Govt teachers
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 6, 2023: In order to enhance the English language-teaching competency of government school teachers, the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) and Will 2 Can Institute of English, Hyderabad has launched a 40-days online classes (daily one hour) for the benefit of English teachers of Karimnagar district on Sunday.
One-day physical classes were formally launched at the Collectorate auditorium in Karimnagar town on Sunday. DEO Ch Janardhan Rao, Will 2 Can institute founder Rameshwar Goud, district quality coordinator K Ashok Reddy , MEO Madhusudhana Chary, District Science Officer Chada Jaipal Reddy, Telangana Maths forum district president Janga Manohar Reddy and others were also present. These kind of trainings were completed in 13 districts and now conducting in Karimnagar district for the benefit of over 500 English teachers, who have already underwent training for 19 days through online mode.
Speaking on the occasion, the DEO said that “”It is important for the teachers to keep enhancing their skills. We want our teachers to do the things they already know differently. This course will bring more creativity in classrooms. English has become an essential language these days. Our teachers know how to teach English to their students. It is important for the teachers to teach it to the students in a creative manner. We will provide all kinds of support to the teachers for learning new ways of teaching”.
Will 2 Can institute founder Rameshwar Goud empowered the teachers on the English teaching techniques. He also gave tips on English teaching and speaking skills. He also reviewed the progress of the last 19 days online training on the occasion by interacting with the teachers.
