Coinciding with International women’s day celebrations, there would be week-long cultural and literary activities
KARIMNAGAR: The second edition of the Karimnagar Book Fair would be organised at Circus grounds also known as Jyothirao Phule park in the heart of Karimnagar from March 2 to 8, 2023 to coincide with the ensuing International women’s day celebrations.
Accordingly, Collector RV Karnan along with Additional Collector Garima Agarwal formally released the posters pertaining to the book fair at the Collectorate in Karimnagar town on February 22, 2023. The book fair is being organised in association with the Hyderabad Book Fair and Telangana Book Trust.
The Karimnagar Book Fair is being organised in association with the Hyderabad Book Fair and Telangana Book Trust. A total of 50 stalls would be set up to exhibit and sell various books for all sections of society.
Along with the book fair, there would be cultural programmes and lectures to celebrate the week-long International women’s day. There would be a food court with Telangana recipes and savouries to suite the taste buds of the locals. Besides, the cultural programmes and literary activities would be also conducted daily in the evening. Assistant Collector Lenin Vatsal Toppo, Telangana Book Trust SEcertary Koya Chandramohan, writers Basavershwar, Yamini Purushotham, Satish and others were also present.
