KARIMNAGAR: “The students need motivation and not just guidance. They will excel in their chosen career and strive for the nation-building”, said motivational speakers Prof B Nageshwara Singh and Regalla Ravikanth.

The motivational speakers were speaking at an orientation programme organised by the Jyothismathi institute of technology and sciences (JITS) for the benefit of first-year students on their campus in Nusthullapur village on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Thursday.
They said that the present generation students have a plethora of career options and they must channelize their efforts to make an excellent career by working hard with dedication and without wasting precious time in the professional college. “It is a transition time for the students, who entered the engineering colleges after completing their 10 plus 2 examinations, where they would make a new beginning to settle down in their chosen career by studying their chosen course”, they stated.
Empowering the first-year students about the importance of life and engineering education, they called upon the students to plan their career perfectly from the first year onwards without any fear and hesitation so that it would be easy for them when they reach the final year. They informed the students not to leave the basic principle of discipline and dedication to study hard and fulfil the dreams of their parents.
JITS chairman J Sagar Rao and principal Dr K Srinivasa Rao said that the youth were the foundation for the future growth and development of the country. HoD (humanities) K Prasanna Latha and others were also present.
