SRR college students field visit to Rojas industry

KARIMNAGAR: The Chemistry department students of SRR government arts and science college in Karimnagar town had a field visit to the Rojas industries in Thimmapur mandal in Karimnagar district on Wednesday to get first-hand information about the production of various beauty products including soaps, shampoos, sanitisers, henna, handwash etc.
As part of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) made by the SRR government arts and science college in Karimnagar town with the Rojas industries, the students visited the factory to study the production of various products using various organic materials and other chemicals. Rajas industries managing director Shailaja explained to the students about the production of various organic beauty products.
She also educated the students about various methods and processes for the production of soaps, handwash, facials etc. Head of Chemistry department M Himabindu, faculty, K Bhaskar, G Srinivas, M Sridhar, B Mahipal Reddy, T Karunakar, G Laxminarayana and B Rajkumar also accompanied the students’ field visit programme. College principal K Ramakrishna appreciated the Chemistry department for organising the field visits and exposing the student community to the industry and helping them learn.
