Siddartha students excel in SGF sports competitions
KARIMNAGAR, SEPTEMBER 24, 2023: Students of Siddartha High Schools in Bhagathnagar and Mankammathota localities in Karimnagar town have excelled in the School Games Federation (SGF) Urban zone sports competitions recently.
The students secured first place in the under-14 years girls category volleyball competitions, they secured second place in the under 17 years girls and boys categories separately. They secured first place in Kabaddi competitions in the under 17 years girls category. The students secured prizes in the athletic events such as long jump where in T Shiva Sai and B Abignasri secured third place and K Kavya secured second place.
In the 3-kilometer running race, Thogi Nathan secured second place, in 1500 meters running race A Hasini secured first place. In the under 14 years category, M Manideep secured first place in discuss throw and third place in shot-put. On this occasion, School Academic director Dasari Sripal Reddy congratulated the students and informed them to accord priority to the sports along with academics for their all-round development.
