Siddartha schools celebrate ‘Varalakshmi vratham’ with devotion
KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 25, 2023: Siddartha High Schools in Mankammathota and Bhagathnagar localities in Karimnagar town celebrated the ‘Varalakshmi vratham’ with devotion and religious fervour to propitiate Goddess Lakshmi on Friday.
The school was colourfully decorated with flowers, rangolies and mango and banana leaves. Priests have conducted vratham with all traditions and the students and women teachers participated in the rituals. Siddartha Schools Academic Director Dasari Sripal Reddy also participated in the puja rituals by offering prayers to Goddess Lakshmi.
As per the Hindu scriptures, it is believed that worshipping Goddess Lakshmi on this auspicious day is equivalent to offer prayers to Ashta Lakshmi – the eight Goddesses of Love, Wealth, Strength, Peace, Fame, Pleasure, Earth and Learning.
