Physics teacher teaching methods by using toys selects him to participate in India international science festival in Goa

PEDDAPALLI: In this world of information technology, today’s teachers are getting rather creative and adopting new teaching methods by using low-cost and no-cost material in the rural areas and winning accolades.
Accordingly, one such Physics teacher from the interior Ramagiri mandal had been invited to participate in the seventh India International Science Festival (IISF) “Celebrating Creativity in Science” which would be held in Goa from December 10 to 13. Mr Koundinya Dusi was the only teacher from the Telangana state to be selected to participate in IISF and display his model of teaching methods by developing tools by using low-cost and no-cost material.
Koundinya Dusi from Vani secondary school in Ramagiri mandal special toys by using low cost and no cost material and teaching Faraday’s Lenz Law, Wave motions and DNA. His toys and teaching had displayed his toys online during the India toys fair 2021 which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February.
On the selection of Physics to national science fair and display of his toys, Peddapalli DEO D Madhavi, District Science Officer B Ravinandhan and school principal Qayum had congratulated Mr Koundinya. They stated that Mr Koundinya had made teaching-learning process one of the most enjoyable ones with his innovative teaching methods by designing toys to attract the students.
Mr Koundinya said that when a teacher adopts methods that are simple yet novel, students are bound to learn faster and better.
