Pallavi Model school conducts Green Day and Eye-testing camp
PEDDAPALLI, SEPTEMBER 23, 2023: Pallavi Model School, Rangampalli, on the outskirts of Peddapalli town, celebrated the Green Day with children coming draped in attractive green attires and participated in various programmes educating the importance of Green for the protection of Nature on Saturday.
On this occasion, the students presented various cultural programmes highlighting the importance of green, which is linked with the nature and prosperity. They participated in group songs and explained various foods of green colour.
The students were taught the identification and recognition of green vegetables, leaves and various green objects. The students were also informed to speak on green colour to provide sensory experience to the children.
School Correspondent Shoba explained the importance of Green colour, which was essential for photo synthesis and chlorophyll for producing oxygen in the plants and its own food. She also congratulated the parents for the success of the programme by donning their wards with various green attires and educating them about its importance.
Eye testing camp
Similarly, the school management in association with Dr Rakesh Super Speciality eye hospital conducted a free eye-testing camp for the benefit of students. Dr Abhiram and Dr Rakesh Reddy participated in the camp and treated the children and educated them about the importance of consuming nutritious food such as milk, leafy vegetables, fruits and eggs to keep the eye healthy.
