NTPC state-level painting competitions at Secunderabad and Nizamabad on 4 and 6 December respectively

HYDERABAD: The NTPC-Southern Region Headquarters, being the Nodal Agency for Telangana State, is organising state level painting competitions as an initiative of the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency from December 04, 2021, onwards. The competition provides a huge opportunity for children of Telangana State to participate and paint their vision of an energy-efficient world.
On 4th December, the event will be held at NTPC Southern Region Headquarters, Kavadiguda Main Road, Secunderabad wherein students of Telangana state except for Nizamabad, Adilabad and Nirmal Districts will participate. Similarly, on December 06, 2021, the competition will be held at Navya Bharathi Global School, Armoor Road, Nizamabad wherein students of Nizamabad, Adilabad and Nirmal Districts can participate.
Students who have registered on the web portal are advised to report at the respective location by 9.00 am as per the schedule. Further, on-the-spot entries are also allowed. The competition will be held from 10 AM to 12.00 Noon. All the participating students will be issued energy-saving LED bulbs. Meanwhile, Parents/School Incharges/Participants are advised to furnish Covid Protocol undertaking before participating in the event.
The Topics for State Level Painting are 1. Energy Efficient India, and 2. Cleaner Planet. The State Level Top 13 Winners in each group: Group-A (Class 5, 6 & 7) and Group-B (Class 8, 9 & 10) will be awarded in the second week of December. Students selected for awards will be given to-and-fro as per guidelines. Further, the state level winners’ paintings will be forwarded to Delhi for consideration at National Level Awards.
