NTPC state level painting competition concludes in Nizamabad

NIZAMABAD: The final phase of the state-level painting competition was held at Nizamabad on Monday. The NTPC-Southern Region Headquarters, being the Nodal Agency for Telangana State, conducted the program in adherence to the Covid protocol. An initiative of the Ministry of Power and Bureau of Energy Efficiency, the program witnessed the participation of children in large numbers from Nizamabad, Adilabad and Nirmal districts.

Enthusiastic children paint their vision of the energy-efficient world with a thrust on energy conservation. These beautiful paintings not only showcased children’s creativity but also underlined the importance of energy conservation. After all, the objective of the program is to create awareness among children.

Guests of the occasion Mr  V Arvind Babu, DCP and Dr Sunil S Heranath, DFO, Nizamabad motivated the students besides presenting T-shirts, certificates and LED bulbs.

The Topics for State Level Painting are 1. Energy Efficient India, and 2. Cleaner Plant. The State Level Top 13 Winners in each group: Group-A (Class 5, 6 & 7) and Group-B (Class 8, 9 & 10) will be awarded in the second week of December 2021. Further, the state level winners’ paintings will be forwarded to Delhi for consideration at National Level Awards.
