NCC annual training camp begins at Paramita Heritage School in Karimnagar
KARIMNAGAR, MAY 22, 2023: The 10-day annual training camp for the NCC cadets of 9 Telangana NCC battalion got off to a start at the Paramita Heritage School (CBSE), Padmanagar, in Karimnagar town on Monday.
A total of 600 cadets from various schools and colleges of the district were participating in the NCC (army) training camp. Speaking after inaugurating the camp, Commanding Officer of 9 Telangana NCC battalion Col Daniel Lotzem said that the cadets would participate in various activities such as drill, map reading, field craft and battle craft, weapons training, military history, communications, firing and guest lectures.
The cadets, who participate in this annual camp, would secure eligibility for the A, B and C certificates, he said and added that the training would inspire the cadets to join the Armed Forces and serve the country. Besides, the training would instill confidence among the cadets to face any situation and excel in their chosen career, he added. Subedar Major Sagar Singh, Captain Kiran Jyothi, training officers Jyothi Lakshmi, Maggy, Prakash, V Rajesh and Sandeep Kumar, training JCO Bala Shanmugam and others were also present.
