KARIMNAGAR: It was all fun and frolic at the Alphores junior college in Vavilalapalli of Karimnagar with the students celebrating the Freshers day party under the title of ‘Mast’ at a function hall on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Friday (September 16, 2022).

After two years of the pandemic virus which had robbed of the sheer excitement of the students, the celebrations reached their crescendo as the students presented a bouquet of cultural events that showcased their hidden talent in dance forms on popular filmy numbers including classical songs and patriotic songs. The hilarious shows by the students also won applause.

The ‘Mast’ cultural event was inaugurated by Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy and retired principal of SRR government degree college B Madhusudhan Reddy. On this occasion, they distributed cash prizes and mementoes to the meritorious students, who excelled in various examinations.

Speaking on the occasion, they called upon the students to follow in the footsteps shown by eminent personalities from various walks of life and excel in their chosen careers. They informed the students to follow the ideologies of former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam and Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. They appealed to the students to discourage the use of electronic gadgets like smartphones and social media, as they have become big hurdles in their life.
