Legislator felicitates a student for her selection to national Handball competitions
JAGTIAL, AUGUST 28, 2023: Jagtial legislator Dr M Sanjay Kumar along with Collector Yasmeen Basha felicitated Government Degree College for women Jagtial town NSS volunteer and BA final student B Akhila on her selection for the National Handball competitions.
On the eve of National Sports Day to commemorate birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, a legendary hockey champion on August 29, the district administration organized ‘Chalo Maidan’ programme at Vivekananda mini-stadium in Jagtial town on Monday. On this occasion, Akhila was felicitated by the legislator and Collector and wished her good luck in her endeavour.
The speakers called upon the students to accord priority for sports along with academics to fit and healthy. Collge principal Dr Y Satyanarayana, IQAC coordinator and NSS programme officer Harjoth Kaur, nodal officer P Tirupathi, K Kiranmayi and others were also present.
