Job fair evokes good response from students as top companies mark their presence

KARIMNAGAR, AUGUST 17, 2023:  As many as 200 students were short-listed for second stage of recruitment process and 20 students selected directly and received on the spot offer appointment orders by various companies during the Mega job mela conducted by the Digital Employment Exchange of Telangana (DEET) and TSKC of Government Degree College for Women in Karimnagar town on Thursday.

A record number of 1600 students for the job mela and 900 students attended the recruitment process conducted by 30 reputed companies such as Capgemini, Reliance, Apollo Pharmacies, Med Plus, Corpone BPO, Lulu international shopping mall, TATA Strive, Mahindra Finance, Bosch and others participated in the job fair. The HR representatives of various companies gave tips to the students about how to prepare resume to win over the confidence of recruiting agencies.

College Principal Dr T Sree Lakshmi expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the job fair and help the students to secure employment in various companies. She thanked the DEET authorities for organising such mega job fair. TSKC coordinator and placement officer Ch Shoba Rani, District Employment officer K Devender Rao, District Industries general manager Naveen, DEET general manager Pavuluri Anil, TSKC full-time mentor G Rajashekhar and others were also present.
