Jagtial govt women’s degree college students tops in CPGET entrance

JAGTIAL: A student from the government women’s degree college in Jagtial town has secured 40th rank in MSc (Physics) in the Common Post Graduate entrance examination (CPGET)-2021 conducted by the Osmania University recently.

At a programme organised in the college on Thursday, principal Dr Y Satyanarayana and Physics lecturer Adepu Rajani has congratulated Sankeertha for securing the state 40th rank in the CPGET and felicitated her by presenting a bouquet.  Similarly, another college girl Harshitha secured admission in Osmania University in MSc (Physics) as she secured 1100 rank.

On this occasion, the college principal said that it was a proud moment for the college as many as 50 students’ secured admissions in various PG courses in Osmania University by successfully clearing the CPGET examinations. Attributing the success of the students due to the quality teaching methods adopted by the faculty members and their constant guidance, he appealed to the students to secure degree admissions in their college by applying through DOST online admission process. Vice principal Mushrooh Sultana, faculty members Swaroopa Rani, Tirupathi, Satyam and others were also present.
