KARIMNAGAR: Its music, masti, dance, memoirs and some take-away advice marked the farewell party for the final year students of the Jyothismathi institute of technology and science (JITS) in Nusthullapur on the outskirts of Karimnagar town on Wednesday (July 6).
“Do Svidaniya”, (Russian phrase of Goodbye until next meeting) hosted by the college was all fun-frolic by the final year students. The students shared their experiences in the college such as how the faculty had moulded them by developing their personality to face any challenges and above all the discipline propagated by the college chairman J Sagar Rao for emerging as successful citizens.
Speaking on the occasion, JITS chairman J Sagar Rao informed the students uphold the image of their parents, teachers and college by emerging successful in their chosen career. The students should not keep in mind if he had ever abused them. I had done only for the sake of your discipline and the success only, he maintained.
Principal K Srinivasa Rao the college management had organised a wonderful farewell to the seniors with “Do Svidaniya”. The senior students would not leave the college and they would be associated with it throughout their life as alumni.
As the day progressed, the farewell party celebrations reached a crescendo where the students treated the audience with a bunch of dance performances on popular numbers including classical numbers. The students competed in taking pictures of their friends, group photos with the students and faculty members.
