GEM programme girl students participate in fire safety drill at NTPC Ramagundam
PEDDAPALLI, MAY 24, 2023: As part of the ongoing Girl Empowerment Mission (GEM) programme at NTPC Ramagundam, Mr Prasanjit Pal, CGM Project, visited the camp and met GEM participants and interacted with them on Wednesday.
During his visit to the GEM venue, he inspected the premises and facilities made available for the students and motivated the students to utilize the programme for their overall personality development. On this occasion, a Fire Safety demonstration was conducted for the participants of the GEM programme by the Fire Wing of CISF- NTPC Ramagundam Unit.
The participants were given in-depth information of fire hazards and related safety precautions. During the live demonstration, various types of fire incidents were practically explained and measures to control were also discussed. The children enjoyed the session a lot and participated enthusiastically in live demonstrations.
The drills were performed in the presence of Subrata Ghosh, Inspector Fire, Jogender Singh Sub Inspector, Rajiv Kumar HC/DCPO, KL Reddy Head Constable, Gopal Constable CISF and others.
