Govt schools regain past glory due to Covid-19
KARIMNAGAR: Thanks to the impact of Covid-19 and lockdown with the shrinking economies and unemployment, the government schools have started regaining its past glory with the steady increase of enrolment in various parts of Karimnagar district.
Buoyed over the successful enrolment of students into the government schools especially the primary schools, District Educational Officer Ch VS Janardhan Rao has embarked upon an ambitious and innovative act of felicitating the teachers and headmasters involved for the revival of the government schools by increasing the enrolment and bringing back the past glory.
Accordingly, the DEO had organised a programme at government primary school, Chintakunta in Karimnagar rural mandal on Thursday and felicitated the teachers and HMs involved in increasing enrolment in government mandal praja parishad schools (MPPS).
The felicitated teachers include; Archana (SGT) MPPS Ilonipalli, Karimnagar rural mandal, Jayashree (SGT) Khajipur, Kothapalli mandal, Srinivas Reddy, (SGT) Mogdhoompur, Karimnagar rural, Manohar Reddy (SGT), Vallampahad, Karimnagar rural, Kavitha (SGT), Bogampad, Illandakunta mandal, Surender (SGT), Dharmarajpalli, Huzurabad and Sunitha (SGT), Gundlapalli, Saidapur mandal.
Similarly, the DEO had felicitated Narayana Swamy, LFM, HM MPPS Chintakunta village in Kothapalli mandal for enrolling a record 219 students. The DEO had also congrulated Chintakunta primary school teachers P Umadevi, V Ramadevi, Parsha Ramulu, Salman Reddy and Sandhya for their efforts in increasing the enrolment. Kothapalli MPP Pilli Srilatha, Karimnagar MEO M Madhusudhana Chary, Huzurabad MEO Srinivas Reddy, MPTC Chintakunta Sharada and others were also present.
