Conference on innovations in chemistry at Jyothismathi pharmacy college

KARIMNAGAR: The Jyothismathi institute of pharmaceutical sciences in Karimnagar in association with the Telangana academy of sciences and the Indian Institute of chemical technology (IICT), Hyderabad had organised a one-day state-level conference on ‘recent innovations in chemistry and its role in medicine’ on Saturday.

The conference was inaugurated by Osmania University professor M Vittal, IICT professors S Ramakrishna and Srihari, JNTU professor B Satyanarayana and empowered the pharmacy students about the importance of chemistry in the preparation of medicine for the benefit of the society. Pharmacy college principal Dr SD Shanmugakumar presided over the meeting and Dr Pabba Parameshwar was also present. The students of Pharmacy and Pharm D attended the conference.
