Collector releases publicity posters of Govt degree colleges

KARIMNAGAR: Collector RV Karnan has said that the government degree colleges were having all facilities and infrastructure including qualified faculty to provide quality education and make the students employable.
The Collector released publicity campaign posters of various government degree colleges to increase admissions in Karimnagar town on Friday after a review meeting of the government degree colleges. On this occasion, he informed the principals of degree colleges to reduce the dropout rate. He also assured all assistance for providing necessary infrastructure in the government degree colleges.
He also appreciated the SRR college principal K Ramakrishna for securing state third prize in the JIGNASA competitions. SRR college principal K Ramakrishna, GDC women Karimnagar principal T Srilakshmi, GDC Jammikunta principal Sujatha, faculty members of degree colleges were also present.
82 SRR college students secure placements
A record number of 82 students’ secured placements in TATA motors and Mahindra and Mahindra automobile industries during the campus placement drive conducted in the SRR college in association with TASK and TSKC on Friday.
Out of 240 students who attended the placement drive, 82 were selected by the respective companies. TSKC coordinator K Laxminarsaiah, IQAC coordinator S Odelu Kumar, TSKC mentor D Rajashekhar and others were also present.
