Certificate course in Mushroom cultivation to help students turn into entrepreneurs
RAJANNA-SIRCILLA, NOVEMBER 21, 2023: In a bid to promote entrepreneurship among students, Government Degree College, Gambhiraopeta, launched a certificate course in Mushroom cultivation on Tuesday.
During this 60-day training course programme, the resource persons T Ugandhar and T Srinivas from Botany department would train the students in cultivation of mushrooms and earn profits. They said that it was an indoor crop which needs a basic temperature of nearly 21 degree Celsius. It can grow throughout the year which makes it more beneficial for the farmers, they explained. The certificate course was organised by Botany department Assistant Professor B Srivalli. Principal Dr V Vijaya Lakshmi and others were also present.
