Buttermilk distributed to SSC students at exam centre in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR:  In the wake of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations being held in the peak summer, the Satavahana Lions club embarked upon an ambitious task of distributing the buttermilk sachets to the students appearing for the examinations in Karimnagar town on Monday to protect from the heatwaves.

The distribution of buttermilk sachets to the students was taken up at the Alphores school of Gennext examination centre at Vavilalapalli in Karimnagar. Alphores educational institutions chairman and Satavahana Lions club president V Narender Reddy had formally launched the distribution of buttermilk to quench the thirst of the students. The Lions members had also wished the students good luck in their examinations.

The Satavahana Lions club had decided to distribute the buttermilk packets to the students till the completion of examinations. On Monday, the buttermilk packets were sponsored by Lion V Jagadeshwara Chary. Lions B Madhusudhan Reddy, S Manohara Chary, M Aravind, M Satyanarayana Rao, Rajender Reddy and others were also present.
