Arvintree students celebrate Gandhi jayanthi
KARIMNAGAR, OCTOBER 02, 2023: Students of Arvintree High School, Vasudeva colony, Karimnagar town, celebrated the 154th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi by organising various programmes on their school premises on Monday.
The students also paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Sastri on his birth anniversary. The students highlighted the life of Gandhi through speeches. To make students understand the significance of Mahatama Gandhi’s freedom struggle, songs were recited on themes of truthfulness, non-violence and patriotism. School chairman B Ramana Rao encouraged students to follow the path of Gandhi in life. Several students donned the role of Gandhi by dressing in khadi to explain the importance of the Gandhi’s promotion of Indian goods and products.
