Alphores students pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi on his 75th martyrdom
KARIMNAGAR: Students of Alphores educational institutions paid rich tributes to Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 75th martyrdom in Karimnagar town on Monday (January 30, 2023).
At Alphores e-techno school in Kothapalli on the outskirts of the town, the students paid floral tributes to Mahatma Gandhi. A two-minute silence was observed in honour of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, affectionately known as Bapu, who was assassinated on this day in 1948. His death anniversary is observed as Martyrs’ Day (Shaheed Diwas).
Speaking on the occasion, Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy recollected the supreme sacrifices made by Mahatma for the Independence of the country through non-violence. He called upon the students to follow the path shown by Mahatma Gandhi.
