Alphores students celebrate Kisan Diwas with farmers in the fields

KARIMNAGAR: Students of Alphores e-techno school in Kothapalli on the outskirts of Karimnagar town celebrated the National Farmers Day (Kisan Diwas) with the farmers by distributing sweets by entering the fields in Kothapalli mandal on Friday, December 23, 2022.

In order to express their gratitude to the farmers, who are providing fresh fruits and vegetables to the people and supporting the nation, the seventh-class students of the school visited the fields to learn the process involved in agriculture such as ploughing, sowing, tilling, cultivating, harvesting, marketing etc.

They interacted with the farmers and inquired about various stages of farming and cultivation of different varieties of food, vegetables and fruits. They also entered into ankle-deep muddy waters in the fields and tried their hands by planting the paddy nurseries and singing songs with the women farmers.

Alphores educational institutions chairman V Narender Reddy said that they had organised a field visit to the agricultural fields to specially celebrate Farmers’ day and thank the entire farming community for feeding the nation and supporting the country. Besides, the students practically learned the subject of farming by visiting the fields and interacting with the farmers, he stated.
