KARIMNAGAR: Stage is all set for the conduct of National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET) for admissions into MBBS, BDS, AYUSH courses in various colleges of the country on September 12 (Sunday).

In Karimnagar district, a total of 5,379 students would be appearing in the examination in 10 centres in and around Karimnagar town. The examination would be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm. The students would be allowed into the centres from 11 am onward. The students were informed to strictly adhere to the Covid-19 norms of wearing facemask, carrying sanitiser and drinking water bottle.

The students were informed to carry along with them admit card along with pasted passport size photograph. The students would not be allowed into the centre if they were late by one minute. The blue point pen would be provided in the examination hall itself. The students were also instructed to follow the dress code.

In a press note here today, Karimnagar city NEET coordinator and Vivekananda Residential School (CBSE) principal T Lalitha Kumari said that they had made all arrangements for the smooth conduct of examination with the deployment of observers by the national testing agency. She appealed to the students to arrive well in advance to the respective examination centres and instructed the candidates not to bring any electronic gadgets along with them.

The NEET examination centres include; Jyothismathi institute of technology and scienes (JITS) (600  students), Vaageshwari college of engineering (540), Sri Chatainya college of engineering (540) and Sri Chaitanya institute of technological sciences (480) in Thimmapur mandal, Vivekananda institute of technology and sciences (VITS) Bommakal by-pass road (600),  Chalmeda Ananda Rao institute of medical sciences (CAIMS) (540), Bommakal, Kamala institute of technology and sciences (KITS) Singapur, Huzurabad  (600).

SRR government arts and science college (579), Vivekananda Residential School (540) and Vivekananda degree and PG college (360) in Karimnagar town.
