54th National Library week concludes at SRR college

KARIMNAGAR: The 54th National Library week celebrations concluded at the SRR government arts and science college in Karimnagar town on Saturday.
The week long celebrations were launched on Sunday last (November 14) and concluded on November 20. As part of the celebrations, the college management had organised a book exhibition for the benefit of student community. Besides, they had also conducted essay writing, elocution, quiz competition and book reviews to help the students learn about the importance of library to upgrade their knowledge.
Speaking on the occasion, college principal K Ramakrishna called upon the student community to spend time in the library to update their knowledge by reading books on various subjects. Stating that the libraries were the treasure troves of the knowledge, he informed the library authorities to provide all facilities for the students visiting the libraries. Librarian K Surender, faculty members Odelu Kumar, P Raju, Tirupathi, Muthanna and others were also present.
