Youth dies of heart attack while dancing during Ganesh immersion procession in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: In a bizarre incident, a youth had reportedly died of a heart attack while he was dancing during the Ganesh immersion procession in Karimnagar town in the wee hours of Monday.
Sources said a youth Pawan Singh (22), son of Mohan Singh, a tea vendor at Municipal Office, was dancing in front of the Ganesh idols as part of a procession in the wee hours of Monday. Suddenly, he collapsed and his friends shifted him to the government hospital. Later, his father Mohan Singh called Sohan Singh, husband of Kamaljith Kaur, the municipal corporator of the 49th division.
Immediately, Sohan Singh rushed to the spot and shifted to the Chalmeda Ananda Rao institute of medical sciences (CAIMS) hospital where the doctors declared him bought dead. They said that the youth had died of a heart attack. The corporator’s husband shifted the body to the residence of the youth and performed the last rites by using the Municipal scheme of Re 1 funeral scheme launched by former Mayor S Ravinder Singh.
