Two house burglars arrested, 8.5 tulas of gold recovered

NIZAMABAD: The Nizamabad Commissionerate of Police have arrested two inter-state house burglars and recovered 8.5 tulas of gold ornaments from their possession.
Disclosing this to newsmen on Monday, Nizamabad ACP A Venkateshwar said that the Four town police personnel during their night patrolling noticed two persons moving under suspicious circumstances at Padmanagar locality. The police caught hold of them and during interrogation, they confessed their names as Dasarath Gangaram Devakar and Rampamwad Shankar both hailing from Maharashtra state.
The accused had confessed to committing house burglaries in the locked houses in Bank colony and Borgam in Nizamabad town and also Bodhan town. They had also informed the police about committing house burglaries in Medak, Narayankhed, Boker, Nagar Kurnool, Nirmal and other parts of Maharashtra state. Another gang member of the Masu Venkat Gaikwad is absconding.
Commissioner of Police Karthikeya had appreciated Town inspector B Satyanarayana, Four town SI K Sandeep, head constable Ramulu, constables Subhash and Venkatram.
