Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy’s gunman commits suicide
Harassment by private bank officials over loan recovery is suspected as the reason
HYDERABAD, NOVEMBER 05, 2023: In a shocking incident, Minister for Education P Sabitha Indra Reddy’s gunman and ASI Md Fazal Arsi committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon in Srinagar colony in Hyderabad on Sunday morning.
Sources said that the gunman while doing to his duty came to Manikanta hotel in Srinagar colony along with his daughter. They discussed about the loan issues. Suddenly, he whipped out his weapon and shot himself in the presence of his daughter.
It is suspected that the gunman was worried lot over the repayment of private bank loan and harassment over the loan recovery in spite of payment of the loan amount. Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy, West Zone DCP Joel Davis and others visited spot and shifted the body to Osmania hospital for postmortem.
