KARIMNAGAR: The Karimnagar Commissionerate Task Force police have raided premises in Alkapuri colony in Karimnagar town and arrested eight persons who were allegedly gambling and seized Rs 39,080 cash and eight cellular phones.
On credible information about the persons playing gambling in a house in Alkapuri colony under Karimnagar One town police station limits on Friday night, the Task force police lead by inspectors Mallaiah and Srujan Reddy raided the premises and arrested the accused persons. The arrested include; Sriramuni Satish, Veggina Karthi, Vangala Rajender, B Prem, Pusala Jeevan, MA Sami,, Md Tameem and Guggilla Mahesh.
The Task force police have handed the accused persons to the One town police along with seized cash, cards and cellular phones for further investigation.
