Karimnagar Rural ACP to conduct inquiry into the entire episode and submit report to CP
KARIMNAGAR: Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana has attached the Choppadandi SI Rajesh to the district police headquarters on the charges of beating a TRS leader reportedly at the behest of Choppadandi legislator Sunke Ravishankar.
The CP had instructed the Karimnagar Rural ACP T Karunakar Rao to conduct a thorough inquiry into the entire episode and submit a report. The disciplinary action would be initiated against the SI based on the inquiry report. Meanwhile, the CP directed the Choppadandi Inspector to take additional charge of the Choppadandi SI.
It may be recalled that Rukmapur village TRS president Thonti Pawan was picked up by Choppadandi police on Thursday evening and beaten him black and blue causing serious injuries on the charges of posting objectionable remarks in social media against the Choppadandi TRS legislator.
The CP also stated that they would also register a criminal case against Thonti Pawan on the charges of posting objectionable remarks in the social media in Choppadandi.
