Choppadandi police gesture to deceased home guard family

KARIMNAGAR, MAY 16, 2023: In a humane gesture, the Choppadandi Circle police have raised Rs one lakh financial assistance and handed over to the family members of the deceased home guard Ipparapu Sadaiah (HG 159) working with Choppadandi police station who died in a road accident recently.

A native of Ghanpur village in Saidapur mandal, the home guard met with an accident in his native village and was shifted to Huzurabad hospital for treatment where he succumbed to the injuries. On learning about the poor living conditions of the bereaved family members, the Choppadandi Circle police raised Rs one lakh and handed over to the family members.

Commissioner of Police L Subbarayudu handed over the financial assistance to the family members of the deceased home guard in Karimnagar town on Tuesday. The deceased was survived by his wife and two daughters. Rural ACP T Karunakar, Choppadandi inspector G Ravinder, SI Upendrachary and others were also present.
