A student killed and headmaster sustained serious injuries in a road accident

PEDDAPALLI:  In a tragic incident, a government school student was killed and the primary school headmaster sustained serious fracture injuries in a road accident in Gangaram village of Kalwasrirampur village on Monday.

Reports reaching here said that Arepalli Srinivas, the headmaster of government primary school of Tenugupalli village, a native of Jeelugula, was returning from the school along with his two sons on his motorcycle. At Gangaram village outskirts, a speeding car coming in the opposite direction hit the two-wheeler on a head on collusion killing the headmaster’s elder son Manokshith. The headmaster sustained fracture injuries and his younger son Sai Keerthan sustained minor bruises.

Following the information, the police team led by SI Rajavardhan rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to government hospital and later to a private hospital for better treatment. The police shifted the body of the student to the mortuary for an autopsy. The police registered a case against the car driver for rash and negligent driving and causing death of a student and injuring two others.
