11-year-old boy lodges complaint with police about his stolen bicycle

SIDDIPET: In a strange incident, an 11-year-old boy walked into the Bejjanjki police station to lodge a complaint against his stolen bicycle which was parked in his house on Thursday.

Bhuvanagiri Sathwik (11) a resident of Bejjanki town went to his grandparents’ house during the Sankranthi vacations. After his return, he could not find his bicycle in his house. He immediately went to the police station and lodged a complaint to the Sub-inspector Avula Tirupathi.

Immediately, the SI called the father of the boy and inquired about the complaint. The father informed the SI that he had concealed the bicycle in the house as his son was moving freely in the open and he wanted to restrict his movement in the wake of the spread of the deadly virus.

Shocked by the reply, the SI counselled the boy and appreciated him for approaching the police station and seeking assistance with grit and courage.
